Living with deep respect on the territories of K'omox and Pentlach Nations, Matta weaves together her knowledge of movement, creativity and arts-based programs that she runs for youth.  She facilitates weekly Girls Groups on Denman and Hornby Islands. Matta is currently studying a multi- year program in Somatic Experiencing and intends to make this potent method of trauma healing accessible to all.
